Three thousand years ago, a prince name Siddhartha* was born in India. When he was born, there were nine nagas(dragon) poured down pure, fragrant streams of water to shower his body.Today we shower the Buddha with fragrant water to celebrate Buddha's birthday. Furthermore, like the Buddha, we learn to keep our body and mind in purity, away from improper actions from the outside and impure intentions from the inside.
